Hello, and welcome to my English tutoring journey! My name is Gina, and I’m here to make language learning an enjoyable and enriching experience for you. I’ve always been fascinated by language in general and have a deep love for my native language, English, in particular—with all its ins and outs, quirks, and idiosyncrasies! There is so much to learn and my most fervent wish is to make learning easy, enjoyable, thought-provoking and as common sense as possible.

I have spent a significant part of my life immersed in diverse English-speaking environments. Born and raised in the USA, I lived there for 30 years before moving to the UK to live for 18 years. Recently, I moved to Sweden, and after 40 years in various administrative and IT jobs, I decided to turn my attention to teaching English as a second language. I am continually working to improve my Swedish, and I understand how difficult it can be to take on a second (or third) language. This might be why I so thorougly enjoy helping and supporting others to reach their true potential!
